1. 10-Minute Walks
Going out into fresh air, even if it’s for 10 minutes, has a lot of benefits. Research shows that breathing fresh air can uplift your mood, lower your heart rate, increase energy levels, and ultimately promote good sleep.
So, a morning walk could be around the nearby park, or your garden. Take in the freshness – it’s like tea.
2. Music
Music is one of the closest things in my heart. It has always been there – in happiness, sorrow, or joy.
And not only for me, music can heal through your sadness too – like a therapy session. In fact, psychologist Shilagh Mirgain has said that music has therapeutic elements.
In addition, music can help you release the burden in your chest. So, go and play your favorite playlist on Spotify!
3. Just Scribble
Scribbling on a blank paper can be as refreshing as painting on a blank canvas. But the twist is, you don’t try to be perfect. Don’t even pretend.
Scribble your mind. Draw like a kid.
4. A Fresh Bowl of Fruits
What else could be more refreshing than a fresh bowl of fruits, right? Pack yourself with the chillness of bananas, apples, berries, and anything of your choice. Sit and enjoy this goodness!
5. Pick Your Diary
I started writing my heart out at 12 but didn’t get a diary till I turned 16. In fact, my diary is a gift.
So, the first thing I wanna tell you is – “you don’t need a specific, aesthetic journal to write into.” Pick any paper and start writing.
Of course, you can pick a personal diary later but for the purpose of writing your heart out, it doesn’t need to be.
I started this blog with a reason – ‘I want to heal people through my words’ because at one point, I needed healing too. That’s when I started this blog.
Similarly, you can start blogging as a part of your healing. Choose the niche of your interest and get started on WordPress.

9. Say Good of You
Daily affirmations play an important role in our lives. It’s because, what you say about yourself (even as a joke) gradually starts to become a part of you.
For example, saying “I’m lazy” will make your brain think that you’re lazy. And you’ll start acting that way. However, saying “I get everything done” will actually make you get things done.
This concept has been explained as the power of the subconscious mind. That’s why you should include affirmations as the first part of your mornings.
Tell yourself, “I am kind. I am grateful.”
“I am working on my goals. I will achieve my goals.”
“I am healing and growing as a person.”
10. Playful Skincare
Even if you haven’t tried a skincare routine yet, it’s the time to do it. I promise, you will become the ‘playful you’ within a moment.
11. Meditate
Regular meditation will calm your mind, give shape to your emotions, and also enhance your creative self. Don’t imagine that one-day of medication will bring you any results. It will take a consistent 6 months at least.
In fact, you may not be able to concentrate and calm your mind in the first few days. But over time, you will get into the spiral.
12. Look in the Mirror, Smile
